I have about 20 8# weights/balances that are pretty rusty (they have no notches.) I would hate to throw them out if they are in demand for restoration projects, but I don't know if they are used at all anymore. Can anyone give my an opinion? (They have been sitting in the basement of our 80 yr old house and I want to get rid of them!)

Thank you!

Even if you could find someone who needed a couple of weights, the chances of them being the right weight would be slim.

I'm sure your basement would be less cluttered without them. Do what we and most every other window contractor does every day.....throw them out!
