I want to change the existing cement slab in front of my house to possibly fieldstone. The slab is about 8 feet deep and 14 feet wide. My house foundation is rubble stone. Would it be a mistake, design wise, to use fieldstone for my entry? Does anyone have any suggestions of their own or perhaps a book or web site that has good pictures for ideas? Thanks.
