Craftsman 1/2HP model#53985 garage door opener left safety sensor appers to not work. The indicator light on the left is not on and the right side is amber. No matter what adjustments or allingments I make to it the garage door will not operate correctly. I have verified that there is not any obstruction in the path of the 2 safety sensors. The remotes, keypad and wall switch all yeild the same result which is a click followed by the unit light blinking 10 times, but no door action. If I hold the wall mount switch down the door will close and open, but I have to hold the button until the door is closed all the way. Is there anway to bypass the saftey sensors so I can verify that they are indeed the problem before replacing them? Please Help.
