Rotting MW Casement

In 1996 we had a sun room built using 2 huge casement MW,In Dec. I noticed that the bottom of the windows have rotted! Anyone had any luck getting MW to do anything ?

Where did the water come in from? Were the windows wood? Did you treat the wood if they were wood? Did you seal them? Who installed the sun room? Did you get a warranty?
