I have an exterior door to replace that leads to my basement. The problem is that the door is small, 62" x 29", so unless I want to pay a lot for a custom door, I don't know what choices I have for a normal thickness exterior door (I would like to put a deadbolt on it). My question is does anyone know a way to build a 1 3/4" door, say z-frame style, well? Or a retail chain that might actually sell a SOLID wood plank door that I could cut down to size?
