Hello,
I have a 4 year old 1/2 hp craftman garage door opener. About a year ago the motor stop working, just clicked a couple of times. The learn light indicator flashed five times and indicated in the manual a logic board was needed. Well, I have changed the logic board and changed the capacitor with no luck. Still, just click/click. I was about a month out of warranty when this happened. Can anyone help?

All of the manuals that I have seen say that 5 flashings indicates an RPM sensor problem.
"5 FLASHES - Motor overheated or possible RPM sensor failure. Unplug to reset.
Symptom: Motor has over heated; the motor unit does not operate or trolley is stuck on stop bolt = Motor unit hums briefly; RPM Sensor = Short travel 6-8 inches. - Unplug unit to reset. Try to operate motor unit, check diagnostic code. - If it is still flashing 5 times and motor unit moves 6-8 inches, replace RPM sensor. - If motor unit doesn't operate, motor unit is overheated. Wait 30 minutes and retry. If motor unit still will not operate, replace logic board. "
That is under Tecnical support, the last item.

Note that there is an 800 support number and an email form for support.

I have read the trouble shooting onfo in the back of the manaual. I have the five flashes and have changed the logic board and checked the start motor capacitor. All wires are tight and there is no jambing or boolt problem. I just can not get the unit to work. It just clicks twice and the green light flashes five times.
