We recently moved into an older home (50+ years old)which has a slight slope to the kitchen floor. This appears to have been a result of the cutting of the floor joist to allow for a basement stair. It is not a major problem, however, it prevents putting the fridge in the most convenient location. Are jack posts the cheapest easiest solution? Any tips for proper installation?
