I recently purchased an adjustable Dado attachment for my table saw (at a good price I might add). However, the max speed on the Dado is 4500 rpm. My saw manual warns not to use tools less than 4600 rpm.

Question is: Does the 100 rpm difference really make a difference or is there sufficient safety margin build into these things that I can push the envelope by that much?
