We are thinking about having a house built
using concrete blocks. What are the pros
and cons for a concrete block house?

We have a block house on a slab. In the winter the wals condensate causing moisture and mold. We insulated a wall to see if that would work and it did not. Our best guess at this point is that cold air is comming in and creating condensation when it hits the warm air inside. What do you think and how can we keep the cold air out? Our walls get really cold.

The block can be filled with foam once it's built to insulate it.
Why would you be considering block?
Complicates simple things like wiring, hanging things on the wall, running plumbing ECT.
