hi, my theatre company and myself have just gotten our first space. problem: it is completely raw. it use to be an office. we are to put bleachers in it ourselves for the audience, but i don't know how or where to start. can anyone help? with a plan for the structure or base?

Actually I would start with the fire marshall. You will have to know how many people can be in your space. I think the actual limit is how fast people can get out. You may also have to talk to the building inspector. The design depends on the size of the audience you'll have.
Given that you're converting from few people with lots of stuff to lots of people with little stuff, I would talk to an architect or structural engineer. You should be able to do at least some of the work but I think you need to work with a pro to lay it out.
