I will be installing structured wiring in the house I am building. In my area cable is now being used for high speed internet access. My question is o I need to run seperate RG-6 cable for each computer or will it run off the same line I use for the t.v.?

Cable runs off the same line as your cable TV, so if you have an outlet in the computer room, you just use a special splitter, with one line going to cable box and other to cable modem

oh, this website is messed up. I have seen others do the same exact thing I just did. Post the same message multiple times because you get an error but the message actually posts.

Thanks for the fast reply.I didn't even think about a splitter. That should do the job and save money by not running extra cable.
