Help! I need this info fast. A well-known carpet cleaning company caused my carpet to "delaminate". They mixed a chemical with something I had used previously to clean some spots. It has come apart in a large area. The employee told me that I will have my carpet replaced. Now they are saying they want to relaminate it. I want it replaced and need info regarding relaminating. ASAP

I’ve never heard of it but here is some sound advise:
1. Take plenty of pictures before they work on your carpet.
2. Have some friends or acquaintances over to look at the damaged area. (Preferably ones that have seen the carpet before it was damaged.) They may be needed in the future if court action is required.
3. Get the company doing the repair to give you a guarantee in writing before doing the repair.
If you are not satisfied seek advise from an attorney. The initial consultation is usually free.
