We installed new downspouts last year and now, they are working great, except, now our yard is flooded. We are planning on putting the drains into a dry well and I was curious what your thoughts were and what advice you would have for doing this.
THANKS!

Provided you use gutter protection to keep your gutters from filling up with debris and the dry wells are located in an area where the soil perks well you should not have much trouble. If you would like complete step-by-step instructions on installing a dry well complete with illustrations, contact me (Glenn Good) through the Expert Advise section, of this web site, under the construction heading.
