Hello Everyone:

I am trying to find an answer to a problem I am having. My kitchen cabinet doors are about 13 years old. They are white and made of laminate. It seems around the edge of the door it has gone yellowish. I tried to wash with household detergents but it does not seem to come off. The front of the doors and back are fine it is only the sides. Does anyone have any clue to why this is and if so, do you have a solution for how to fix it?

I wonder if the edges of the doors are laminate like the front/back of the doors or if they're plastic T-moulding ?

The laminate is hard but that plastic is softer and can take on dirt and stains......try cleaning with lacquer thinner.....doug

Yes I do believe they are made of a plastic moulding while the door fronts and back are laminate. Thanks, for the tip I will try it.
