The subject well pump was old when we moved here in 1973. It was used for irrigation for an azalea nursery in the back yard for many years back then. I've used it very much every summer since then for my garden and kids. Now, the impeller is disintegrating and coming out the hose and the motor heats up and stops, but doesn't trip the breaker. (Due to a built-in overload switch I guess.) I need to replace the pump, but I can't locate any specs on it. I want to get the right kind and size for irrigating my 1,600 SF garden. I don't know how deep the well is, but I know that plays a part on the pump performance. Where can I find the specs for this pump? Thanks!
