I have a problem with my mattress. It is very slippery. Every time I go to sit on the bed it slips right off the box spring. This is a new mattress and box spring but this had never happened to me before. Can someone give me a suggestion as to what I can do to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Foam egg crate between matress and boxspring. Normally the foam is for added firmness, but this may help in your situation.

Use that stuff you put under area rugs to keep them from slipping. It's very thin, and will not slip at all. About 15 bucks will cover it.
