My boyfriend installed a piece of my Rubbermaid cabinet upside down - so of course when I went to fix it, I forgot to take the doors off and the pressboard cracked/broke, the door flew off and my screws have nothing to grab on to. I have purchased some wood fill but am having a hard time getting the short screws to really feel like they are catching...any other ideas for fixing my flying door? Should I look into another hinge or maybe just chuck it and get a new one? I hate to waste $100 cabinet.

Thanks.

Smile...........

Try drilling a tiny hole to start the screws.........

And no sense using the old/short screws..........Purchase some LONGER screws that will still fit the hinge hole/recess........
