My new home is almost entirely built using 3x10 joists for the floor. At least the first floor is. The actual thickness is a tad over 2 1/2".

A remodeling project might call for the addition of joist hangers. Does anyone make a hanger for a 3x, or am I going to have to use angle-brackets and bolts? A double-2x is too baggy. Notching for a ribbon could be difficult as some joists are only 12" o/c.

Thank you in advance - TomR
