Hi, have an OLD RCA system link remote. I think the model number is RCU100 or RCU1004. Need to know how to enter codes first of all, there are 4 programable buttons, VCR1,2, Audio and Cable. Then I would like a list of the codes if available. This is just "system link" not "system link" 3,4 etc.

Thanks!!

I also have a RCU100 remote. RCA doesn't have anything on their website for this anymore. I'd like the programming insructions so I can use it with other brands. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have the manual with the code list. What do you need from it?

Hi. I have the original System Link. What buttons and sequence do I press to enter the codes? Also do you have the codes for a Citizen TV?

Thanks

My controller just says System Link on it. No model number or anything. But the owners manual that came with it is for a Model RCU100.

Unfortunately, the Citizen TV is not on the list.

I hate it when that happens!

The only silver lining is that I checked the prices of current universal remotes, and see that several models that sell for less than $20 will scan for the proper codes, as well as allow manual entry of codes. That might be a possibility for you.

Good luck!

Was there a way to search out the codes with this unit? I have some old stuff that the newer units don't seem to work. Like one Fisher amplifier as an example. How do you go about programming this remote?

Basic programming involves pressing the button for the controlled unit (tv, vcr, audio, cable box), then pressing the ID button, then pressing a 2 button numeric code corresponding to the manufacturer of the controlled unit. Test by pointing at the unit and press the on/off button.
