lawnmower mistake

My son 7 year old son thought he was helping when he accidentaly poured the oil into the gas tank of our brand new self propelled lawnmower. It's never been run. What should I do now. Thanks for any help.

Pour the oil out.

Pour a small amout of gasoline in and swish it around. Pour this out. Repeat this until all the oil appears to be out. once or twice should do it.

The lawn mower may smoke on the first startup unitl you burn off any remaining oil in the fuel line.
