I'll be painting my house soon and noticed that although my gutters are in good shape the nails that hold it it place are are rusted and because of all the times it has rained it now shows that rusty drip on each nail. I wanted to repaint the gutter but what do you suggest I cover the nails with before I repaint them white. Also can I spray paint the gutters white rather than

paint them? 2 questions.... can someone help me out please?

You paint them with rustoleum. But better yet - replace them with aluminum gutter nails. If your gutters are also coming loose you can do what I did - replace the nails with long (but small) lag bolts. Then paint the heads of the bolts with white rustoleum.
