Due to limited space, I built a computer monitor desk that is attached to the walls on 2 sides. On these sides it rests on a 2x2 that is bolted into the studs.

The remaining 2 sides are supported by 3 legs - one on each corner and one in the middle.

My concern - the desk top consists of 3/4" cabinet grade oak plywood. Does this sound sufficient for a 60 lb monitor? The monitor is much heavier than I had anticipated.

It sounds like you have 5 corners. If the two sides are on two walls, that means that three of the corners are along the wall. Am I missing something?
