Anybody know how to repair a recliner that is failing to maintain a position. i am about ready to toss the chair. anybody out there??

Turn the recliner over or tip it so you can see underneath. There are normally wing nuts near the hinge for the back. Tight them to increase resistance, loosen to make reclining less resistant.
