Just checked my Philips remote and Norcent isn't a listed brand for it (perhaps because mine is a couple years old).

If you can't find it (or if no one else responds), you might pick up a "Learning" remote control. These have come way down in price. I, personally, prefer the Philips remotes. I have a Sony as well and repair was a real nuisance--and it was a lot more money.

Anyway, good luck! Remember the 'old days' when we had to walk across the room to change a setting!? Well, nowadays, what can I say; remotes just pile up...

thank you for your prompt reply,nonetheless.it's just so frustrating because i just purchased the remote about a month ago.however,i also just moved about a month and a half ago,so hopefully the book that goes with my remote will turn up soon.i appreciate your response.have a great day.shonna
