We are planning to have Silestone countertops installed on 11/20/06. We Bought our cabinets from Home Depot and also arranged for them to purchase our countertop. The countertop is being nstalled by a company subcontracted by Home Depot. Included with the kitchen cabinets was countertp edge molding. The person who put in our cabinets does not know what this is for. Is the edge molding necessary for installation of the countertop and should we do that OR is that the responsibility of the countertop installer? Please advise as we are fast running out of time

the edge moulding is the finishing touch which should be the responsiblity of the person installing your countertops. It is like hanging a picture without a frame around it.
