I have a small piece of granite and would like to hang it below my flat screen TV as a shelf. I was wondering the best way to affix to the wall? Modem, router and cordless phone will sit on top.

Hard to say without seeing it, but I'd look for some sturdy brackets at least. Preferably more than two--not only to handle the weight, but because, depending on thickness & weaknesses, granite might break in half.
At least you won't be loading it up with books. I would think you can find some sturdy brackets that will work. ... good luck!
