We are buying a new home and the entire upstairs has wood walls. Not the cheap paneling, but nice solid wood. It hurts me to paint it since that would be irreversible, but I'm not really into the wood cabin appearance.

A friend mentioned that his parents once sold all the wood from a solid wood paneled room... where would I find a market for this sort of thing?

I'd love to just sell it and drywall the room so i don't feel guilty for painting it!

Honestly be unique keep the solid wood wall. It's kind of a rarity these days
