Hello. I have recently replaced my entire air conditioning system and my next project is windows, exterior paint and roof. In which order should I approach these projects?

I am planning to have my mortgage lender conduct a new appraisal to END the mortage insurance requirement ($350) and they will give me a HELOC for the new appraised value. This way I could roll these 3 projects into 1 payment, but need advice on how to order them. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Tally, it's been a while!

I usually like to think, how much will need to be "undone" if it goes in the wrong order...

Having asked that, I would probably paint LAST. I might go so far as to say, roof first, then windows (because roofers might break something as they're flinging stuff off), then paint... but perhaps there's some reason to do windows first (you know best). But I keep thinking, PAINT LAST - as replacement windows will entail repainting (both inside and outside)...

Again, I tend to think, how much damage might the other projects do if I were to tackle this one first...good luck
