Hi -

It's a long story, but I had about a dozen eggs thrown at my interior metal door and dryway. I have scrubbed and scrubbed with Lysol and Fantastic and I can no longer see any egg remnants. However, and I wrote a post on this yesterday, The smell is still awful (in my bedroom.) Has anyone tried any substance or anything which could get rid of this smell? I have already started scrubbing off the finish on the door and the drywall.

Thanks in advance,

Dawn D. Durante

Wow, this is a tough one. This one caught my eye...as I make some wine - an endeavor that this smell can be an issue (even if no eggs are really involved). I have tried numerous internet searches; not much luck. Have you tried (obviously this is for OUTSIDE use) pressure washing? good luck...

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the majority of the problem has been in the kitchen, which is quite small so pressure washing isn't feasable (but a good idea). I have been scrubbing down past the paint and the smell is getting much better. I've resigned myself to having to scrub everything I can and then painting the kitchen walls, ceiling and floor.

Thanks again _ I sure learned my lesson.

Dawn
