We're redoing our 70s-era kitchen, which has a backsplash of white laminate. It goes all the way up to the cabinets. I want to replace it with something easier to clean than paint, but not tile, because of grout problems (we're having this problem in the same-era bathroom).
I DO NOT want anything that has to be grouted, sealed or glued together. Hubby suggested faux copper sheets available at Home Depot, but they have to be glued down and present the same type of problems with glue-on vinyl flooring.
I had wallpaper in my previous kitchen, but it was wearing out from repeated cleaning around the stove.
Any suggestions?
