I acquired a beat up cottage where there is a crack in every corner of the playhouse. I'm first trying wood plastic glue to fill in the small cracks. I got it at Home Depot in aisle 9 where all the glues are. I will let everyone know how it goes.
I have 3 out of 4 corners where the corner piece has split into two. It got that way because it was on dirt and the ground was not level. It is about an inch warped out of place and I'm thinking I may just add more material to the area instead of trying to get it to fit back together since the pieces are warped.
The roof is also a grey instead of brown. It probably was one of the first playhouses sold in 2006 by the looks and condition of it.

I would love a pdf of "The Cottage" manual. Could you send me a copy? Thanks so so much! I've been looking everywhere.

I have one up for sale in Northern California in Lake County. 2 hrs north of Sacramento and Bay Area. Help with disassembly. Have instructions. You haul. We needed a 4 wall trailer as the walls are large. Outside corners wall are cracking. I've read others having the same problem and they used silicone. If interested call Denise (707)263-5265 or email me dmboatright@mchsi.com
I am looking to purchase one of these playhouses, The Cottage. I live in the El Paso, TX area. I am willing to pay for shipping or pick up. Please contact me@ amanda.sellers1@Yahoo.com or 9154438957. Thanks. Amanda
The manual is on the Internet as a PDF file. Even though the playhouse I got had cracks all over the outside, it looks wonderful on the inside. I made a mistake in my post above about the wood plastic glue. It's suppose to be an outdoor sealant but I can't use it yet until the weather warms up. I was missing a few easy bolts and nuts. I did buy some half inch by 1.5 inch metal hex screws with 1/2 inch washer and bolts. Then I thought that it will rust over time. I ended up using those plastic screws and bolts you find in those Black and Decker or Home Depot tool set for kids along with two 1/2 inch metal washers to keep each screw in place. It's working so far. It really is a great playhouse. I'm debating whether I should by some instabulbs for light inside at night.
