Hello...I came across your post inquiring about The Cottage and my wife and I have just recently decided to 'let go' of the one we have. Although the decison has been difficult due to the memories of our children and friends and cousins that have had endless enjoyment of this 'little people retreat' our youngest daughter who just turned 12 over the summer has sadly expressed her desires that she has 'outgrown' her playhouse. Needless to say, thoughts of our youngest of 5 and all the happy and warm memories that go with it, these are not actions or words that any parent likes to encounter to think of their last-of-the-bunch little one as 'growing up' and deciding it's time to 'move on' from the playhouse days. Before you know it we'll blink and empty nest syndrom will be kicking in...Although it has been a difficult decision to just 'let go' we do know it is time for another family to build their own warm and happy memories with the laughter and joy the Cottage playhouse brings.

We had purchased the cottage at one of the bigbox stores (Sams or Costco) for 1600 and change. It is a very well built playhouse and retains its structure excellently. We are asking 1000 for it. Should you be interested we can be contacted at soulm8ts@aol.com

We have "The Cottage"! Ever-spoiling "Grandpa" bought it for our granddaughter when she was 2 1/2. It was set up in our basement due to her age and it has been there ever since;-) Sadly our plans to move it to the yard have never met with actual follow through. She rarely plays in it as she loves the computer and reading now, so we have decided to let it go.
There is however one thing you should know. There was manufacturing flaw with the roof. It split at every peak where the each piece bends to form the peaks. I called the company right away especially since the playhouse is indoors and had not been subjected to the weather. They stated that there had been a design flaw so they shipped us a repair kit. Because of slow shipping, and us complaining, we ended up with two kits! When contacted they said to just keep them both. NEITHER repair kit has been used as playhouse is still inside. We still have instruction manual too. If you would like to email me I can email more pics and give you my phone # and we can discuss price.
