Remove inside molding, cut nails or screws with a hack saw, remove old unit. Check squarness of opening and size of new unit. You want the hinge side to be as solid as possable and work from that side. Shim the other side where needed after door is installed. I work on wood frame houses so this my change if you are in another material. Have a good level and square. Good luck.
