I don't have a clue other than I envision a 6 to 8 foot bench made from 2x4's somehow. Supported on each in the middle by 1 4x4 inch post.Does anyone have ideas ? Would appreciate ANY suggestions and or help.

Don't know if this is what you're looking for,but..I just saw a bench kit at ******* ,they supply the "frame work" and you supply the 2x4s, allowing you to make any length you desire. Seemed to be a resin , only saw it in passing, but it looked nice.
hmm..noticed they locked out the store name, so I'll just say its the one where "you save big money, you save big money, when you shop ******* .And they have some old guy as a pitch man..hehe

This sounds great, sounds like something I could use. However, I do not have a clue about the store. I hate playing twenty questions, but could there be one in South Florida? Many thanks.

My bad...I didnt realize the were a midwest only chain. Im sure your local hardware superstore would have it , if not a lawn and garden center would. good luck...
