I have plans to add a 16 x 26 one car garage to an existing cape cod style house, with one room above and laundry and 1/2 bath to the rear. The property is located on Martha's Vineyard. I have one estimate but am having difficulty getting a second even after sending the plans to two other contractors. Does any one have a ball park figure as to what a project like this would cost. I was told anywhere from $150.00 to $200.00 a square foot.
