I bought a home with a microhood and It does not exhaust to the exterior so all the odors from cooking are staying inside of the house. My question is: does anybody knows? if this Kenmore model # 665-68601991 may be configured so it could vent to the outside or the attic.
Any thoughts would be appreciated,
Thanks

I don't know about your specific model but most OTR microwaves can either be vented outdoors or set to just recirculate through an activated charcoal filter.

Check the owner's and/or installation instructions to see if possible and what needs to be done. If there wasn't any left for it, contact S E A R S for replacement(s) or to find out for sure.

I do not believe it would be up to building codes to vent it into an attic. Plan on ducting it directly to the outdoors if you intend to do it!
