As a volunteer at a local animal rescue shelter, I have watched over the years the death of many regular washing machines we have installed to handle our daily washing needs.

Frequently, we must haul our laundry to a coin operated center and monopolize the large capacity machines in order to keep up with our needs.

Thru a Google search, I found your website. I am asking if you ever have refurbished or out of model high capacity laundry systems available.I will assume we can make the necessary water, drain and power connections to install one of the small units.

Please let me know if our request if viable for further pursuit. If this is beyond your present abilities, can you direct me to another source who may be able to assist us in our animal rescue endeavors?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Commercial washers are often available rebuilt or on a lease basis. Try contacting some of the local coin-op laundry business to see if they can put you in touch with their service agent or machine supplier. They might even have a unit they'd be willing to part with. You can also ask at some local appliance parts sellers if they can provide you contact information.

I will warn you that even used commercial washers often go for several thousand dollars a piece, not like household machines which only cost several hundred even when new.

Consider a full size heavy duty washer and dryer on site. Try to locate the W/D in an area where there is existing 120vac. This will save you money, because the outlet is already there. The washer can run on 120 Volts. The dryer will require 120 Volts for natural gas. If you don't have access to a gas line, then the dryer will need to be electric, and that requires a 240 Volt line. Depending on the length of the run, a plumber will charge $250.00 on up to install the gas line. Get a couple estimates for a 240 line. Last but not least, make sure your plumber's and electrician's, are registered, master plumber's/electricians. Just like oil and water do not mix, the same applies to GAS and ELECTRIC. Since you are a non-profit org; ask around. You may get some to do the work for free. You supply all the necessary materials. Tell your tradesmen all work is tax deductable. Best of luck to you !!
