Possibly a defective electronic control or defective control thermister. Maybe a sticking air damper (if used on whatever model you happen to have).

Refrigerator tempreture side cannot be reset. It remains around 29 degree. Water dispenser does not work.Icemaker and freezer works perfect and tempreture remains at 0 as recommended.I was told that the computer is not working. Please advise.
I'm confused. benque, are you the same person that started this message??
In any case, we would need the appliance's model number to even know what refrigerator design you're dealing with. You can find tips for locating the model and serial number tag on your appliances in the 'Repair Parts' section of my web site linked below.
** I was told that the computer is not working. **
If you had someone out to inspect it and that's what they said, I have no way to dispute it and would have to trust their judgement.

Thanks for your reply. The GE profile arctica I have is Model #PSS27NHMD. I had called a technician and was advised over phone that the computer is not working. Tempreture in refrigerator remains at 29. I tried to reset but does not work. As I stated before, the freezer side works, the tempreture does reset.I is only the refrigirator side that is too cold and the water dispenser that does not work. When refrigerator is turn off for several hours and turn back on water dispenser works until the refrigerator side get cold.

Unless you actually have someone out to inspect the appliance, I wouldn't go by what they said. Only actual testing or inspection will determine the cause of problems.
** water dispenser works until the refrigerator side get cold. **
The water reservoir ('chiller tank') for the dispenser is inside the fridge compartment. If it got below freezing there, that tank could freeze.
** the refrigerator side is too cold **
That could be caused by any number of thing, the electronic control, its thermistor sensor or a problem in the air damper (see the following link) between the fridge and freezer compartments.

Only through actual testing will the cause in your case be found.
If you're going to call in anyone for service, I would recommend a GE *factory authorized* service depot as they should be most familiar with that refrigerator design. But don't expect even them to be able to tell you what's wrong over the phone either.

There is a door that moves cold air from the freezer to the fridge. That door breaks. The good news is you can fix it yourself. The bad new 75 buck.
The part simply unscrews and has a single connector that you unhook.
I have opened up the part and found the broken door inside. The part is here

I have not called them yet but it looks as the piece was reworked. THe guy that was out at my house looking at another appiance told me the door stick all the time. My freezer was 30 all the time no mater what temp I sent it to and the water despenser did not work due to the water blater freezing that is located in the fridge. So replace this part and you will be back up and running. Now if I can only find just hte door which is worth about 5 bucks. I am going to try super glue first to see if it holds out. These unites have a shelf with quick freeze. I would guess this is where the door oipens and vents cold air to the bottom drawer. I will stop using that to see if the super glue holds out.
