Hello,

I just picked up this 40" Wedgewood stove from my deceased grandparents shed. It has been stored there for as long as I can remember. Can you tell me the date it was manufactured and if a replacement clock is available? Also I was told a light or lamp is missing from the middle of the top of the stove. If so, is this part available? As you can see, I have a lot of clean up to do.

Thank you,

You can view the stove at- http://www.bhr31.com/wedgewood.htm

** Can you tell me the date it was manufactured **

Not me and probably not anyone without the complete model and serial number off its identification tag.

** [is] a replacement clock is available? **

I very much doubt it but if you take the original to a local appliance parts supplier, they should be able to send yours away to be repaired.

I doubt a "new" one is but one of the companies listed in the Appliance links' "Restoration" section at the site linked below may be able to supply a used replacement.

Does anyone make replacement timers or clocks for vintage Wedgewood stoves circa 1941-1959?

Only the original manufacturer would likely carry such a thing and depending on the appliance's age, it is unlikely they would still stock such parts.

It is however usually possible to have mechanical stove clock/timers repaired by removing the original and taking it to a local appliance parts supplier where they will send it away for repair.
