Whirlpool dishwasher, Model DU850SWLBO
Purchased in March this year. There is a leak underneath that looks to be coming from the white piece behind the motor and infront of the drain piece. It has steadily gotten worse. I have looked for the name of this part but haven't found anything. In my searching, I did see that it seems to be sold as part of the motor for about half the cost of the whole darn dishwasher itself.
Is there anything I can do to avoid having to purchase this whole unit?

Since it is less than a year old it should be under warranty in which case you shouldn't need to "purchase" anything. In fact, if you were to alter the appliance at all, it could void any remaining warranty on it.
Call a local Whirlpool authorized service depot and if something is needed, they'll supply and install it for free under the warranty!

Since it is less than a year old it should be under warranty in which case you shouldn't need to "purchase" anything. In fact, if you were to alter the appliance at all, it could void any remaining warranty on it.
Call a local Whirlpool authorized service depot and if something is needed, they'll supply and install it for free under the warranty!

Is there anywhere I can go to check on my warranty. I have always been really good to register my products...but for some reason, with my dishwasher, I have this feeling (like women get) that for some reason, I slipped up on it. I can find all of my paper work except for my receipt.
Can Menard's pull up their records and tell me when I purchased? I can't remember how much it cost even. I was so excited to have it. First one ever and with 6 children it is a blessing. But having to suction out the tray underneath each time is getting to be a pain in the a$$.
Is it possible to enter a quesstimate on the date and price?

Not that I know of but you should be able to call Whirlpool to see if you registered your appliance or not.

Me?? I would have no idea, the price doesn't matter anyway. For warranty service you will need to supply the exact date of purchase in most cases.
