Hi, I am considering buying this brand and would appreciate hearing from anyone who uses/has used or can comment on the performance/reliability of Fisher & Paykel washer and dryer models.

This company is apparently fairly new to the US though it apparently has a tradition internationally. Also supposedly has very good warrantty.

If I'm not mistaken, the dryer sold in North America under that brand name is built by GE (if that says anything to you) unless it is Fisher & Paykel's 'top-loading' model (announced about a year ago - if it's even on the market here yet).

I have no personal knowledge of any F&P appliances.

F&P told us ( earlier this year ) that they where going to make thier own dryer....not sure if that has happened yet.
