I have 90 sets of these where I work and have run into the same situation.Since I deal with tenants, I had to come up with a quick fix rather than the old method of weighting the door down with a heavy object while it sits on saw horses.Try moving the bottom pivot pin
out of its place until the doors line up.Next, remove the door and relocate the hardware the pin rests in.I don't know how bad your doors are but this has worked for me and you can't tell the difference.

Yes,what you are doing is bending the wood back to being straight.I have read several variations which include wetting the wood prior to putting on the weight,and the use of turn buckles and wire where you tighten the turn buckles each day or so to unwarp the door.Since I've never done it I can't offer much more but wish you good luck!

Tp Matches: You've sure helped; I think I'll try using some C-clamps and heavy duty angle iron, that is, after I've stripped as much paint as possible, and soaked that side of the panel to get it damp. Will spend the rest of the winter coaxing that rail into conformity. Thanx for the idea.
