We have a GE GSS25LG side by side that at the lowest setting possible, food in the refridgerator part gets frozen. The freezer is set to 3 and if set lower, food doesnt stay frozen hard, but food on the other side still freezes. ANy idea what may be causing this? We cleaned the coils, bt that didnt seem to make any difference.

Electronically controlled GE Arctica and Profile refrigerator models have had numerous 'field service kits' developed to correct a myriad of performance problems they often suffer. I suggest you contact a GE *factory authorized* service depot to see which one(s) may be necessary to correct your present condition.
