I have a Kenmore gas range (model #75501) that has little rubber feet or pads on the stove top grates that keep falling off, the manufacturer did not glue them on. I am now purchasing some more of these pads and I would like to glue them on. I would like to know what adhesive to use. The stove grate tops are metal and get very hot. The feet seem to be made out of some type or rubber like material. If anyone has any recommendations I would appreciate your response.

** Kenmore gas range (model # 75501) **

That doesn't look like a complete model number, did you get it right off the appliance's model and serial number tag? That is the only reliable place it will be found.

I did find listings for Kenmore gas range models 362.75501990 and 362.75501991

** little rubber feet or pads on the stove top grates that keep falling off... I am now purchasing some more **

Are they available separately? I don't see them listed in the parts lists of the model ranges I posted above.

** the manufacturer did not glue them on ... I would like to know what adhesive to use. **

I don't know what any of the range manufacturers recommend but muffler cement from a local automotive shop might work. There is also some "high temperature adhesive" (see the following link) used for clothes dryer applications. I don't know if it would be designed to hold at the temperatures a gas range burner grate would get to though.

You are correct the full model number is 362.75501990.

**Are they (the little rubber feet or pads) available separately?**

When I first purchased some replacement pads two years ago they were not available from Kenmore (*****), they wanted to sell me the whole burner grate. To get them I had to contact GE who is the "real" manufacturer.

Today when I called GE they couldn't match up the Kenmore part number so I called Kenmore parts and they said that they are now available seperately. From the what the Kenmore representative said it appears many people were losing these little pads. I should have glued them on the first time I replaced them.

**There is also some "high temperature adhesive" (see the following link) used for clothes dryer applications.**

Thanks! I'll check the link out.

Maybe when you get them you can post the part number off the receipt in case others are looking for the same things.

Good luck!
