I recently just bought a used kenmore elite dryer last week, per seller its not more than a year old and never had problems.(model # 11062036100) I used it a couple of times, worked great, but today I go to use it and it wont work. there is electricity because the light turns on when you open the dryer door, the the control panel does not turn on at all!I've unplugged, and reset the house electric panel! Can someone please help!!!!!

-I- don't know much about the electronic control but your dryer will have 2 powers comming to it and the light only needs 1 of these powers to work. You or someone will need to make sure the correct power is still comming to the dryer.

There should be a tech sheet inside the consol that will have test/tips on checking the control and such. There also is a repair manual available that may help...

well its now on but it is showing an E1 error code, and beeps 2quick times, several times...anyone have any ideas w/what is up w/this machine? I have called ***** for service, but they can't come for another week or so....

The thermistor should be on the fan blower housing.

we had called ***** to come fix the dryer...very frustrating...they cant come for another week or so... we changed the thermistor ourselves..its not coding E1 or E2 anymore, but it will randomly dry a cycle then we can't get it to turn on. we unplug it for a while, then it will turn on, sometimes..and it will do one beep while its drying...anyone know whats up???
