LOOKING FOR A NEW DRYER. LOOKING AT THE ATLANTIS SERIES & REVIEWS ON THEM.....

TRYING TO DECIDE BETW. THE 8400, 7400, 6400.

I'M NOT SURE IF THE "MOISTURE SENSOR" - IS IT CALLED INTELLIDRY? IS WORTH IT -- WHAT DO YOU THINK?

--WONDERED IF A LIGHTER WEIGHT FABRIC TOUCHED THE SENSOR, IF IT'D STOP - WHEREAS A HEAVIER WEIGHT IN THE SAME LOAD WOULD KEEP IT GOING? -- MOST OF US DON'T SORT OUR LAUNDRY BY WEIGHT!

YET, IT SEEMS A LIGHT - VISUAL SENSOR ON THE DISPLAY MIGHT BE HELPFUL? SO OFTEN ON MY CURRENT DRYER IT SAYS IT'S DONE, BUT IT'S NOT!

ALSO WONDERED IF THE 'EXTENDED TUMBLE' FEATURE (I THINK IT'S ONLY ON THE 8400) IS WORTH IT?

IF YOU OWN A PARTICULAR MODEL - HOW IS THE SOUND? LOUD? NOTICED THE 8400 MODEL IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A "PLUS" QUIET PACKAGE - WHEREAS THE LOWER 2 DON'T - BUT IS IT NECESSARY?

HOW'S THE "CHIME" NOTIFICATION?

I'D REALLY APPRECIATE ANY INFORMED OPINIONS ON THESE - AS MY ***** KENMORE CALYPSO DRYER IS SO YOUNG, BUT NEAR DEATH!!! THANKS.
