am i allowed to place an electric range under a window in the kitchen? most people have a sink under the main window, but my "G" contractor placed the wiring for the Electric Range smack in the middle between two windows.

I believe that might depend on *local* building codes. Check with *local* officials or a local building inspector. I would think there probably ARE restrictions against it but that is just a guess.

Placing a range *between* two windows is likely a bit different than "under a window".

The 2 windows are right next to each other. The plug receptacle is just under the beam between the 2 windows.

That would do it.

Yes, check with some local authorities to be sure it is allowable or not where you are.
