I have a Kenmore Elite Sensor Smart Three-Speed Automatic Washer with Catalyst Cleaning Action. The model # is 110.22056100. It is a digital washer. The problem is that it stays on. The light on my Normal Cycle, Large Load, Auto Temp Control, Warm/Cold, Agitation Time all stay on. I press Stop/Cancel wich will normally in proper working condtion, turn the washer off, the lights will go out but as soon as I release the Stop/Cancel button the lights come back on. I can press start and the washer will run in the Normal Cycle (that is the one that is lighted on the panel) but I cant use any of the other cycles, it will let me change the water temp but I cant adjust the Agitation Time which is at 10min. on the panel (lit up with the rest of the buttons described). The only way to turn off the washer is to unplugg it or turn off the fuse. Every so often the washer will beep. I ran the washer in the Normal Cycle to see if it would shut off by itself like it normally does after the cycle completes but it did not help it is still on. I tried to be as descriptive as possible I hope it helps So what do I need to. Thanks for any help.

Your symptoms might be caused my a 'stuck' button on the control panel or a problem in the electronic control itself. I'm afraid the machine would actually need to be checked out to determine which (if either).

If you want to attempt to repair it yourself, there will often be a 'tech sheet' with the appliance's wiring diagram which on electronically controlled models will usually have at least some diagnostic procedures. On washers that wiring diagram is most often rolled up inside the control panel but can also be in a small pocket, pouch or envelope attached to the inside of the washer's cabinet.

I will warn you that electronically controlled appliances are often difficult to diagnose. You might want to just call in a professional and have them look at it?

I have this exact same problem with my Kenmore washer. What was your result?
