I have a four year old GE Washer model WLSE3150. In the wash cycle when it starts to agitate there is a clicking noise which the house lights dim in sequense as the clicking and the agitating. It seems to do it all the time if it is in gentle selections or at the 6 minute light if it is at the Normal mode selection.

** GE Washer model WLSE3150 **

That is only part of a model number, did you get it right off the appliance's model and serial number tag? That is the only reliable place the complete model number will be found.

You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances at the following link:

Every time I've heard that complaint on GE's new style washer (which I believe yours is), the problem has been in the motor. :(

This is caused by a bad motor. If you do not care about having 2 speeds I have posted a free fix so you will not have to change the motor you can see it here.
