Model # PAV2300AWW and Serial# 14518906AE
Not too long ago it was louder when it was spinning and now it won't spin the clothes out at all. It agitates and during the spin cycle you can hear the motor running but it isn't doing anything.:( I couldn't be more frustrated - we have always had much older washers and they work like a charm and now the new one is crapping out. We checked the belt and it isn't broken. Anything else we can check or do we need to call someone?

Hi,
**It agitates and during the spin cycle**
Does the washer drain out the water? The motor should run in one direction for agitation and the motor should run in the other direction for spin/draining, make sure the motor is reversing for the spin and drain mode.

**Yes, the washer does drain the water out**
That -should- mean the timer is telling the motor to reverse and the motor is reversing.
Drive problem if agitating in the spin mode...bad thrust bearing, bad transmission...both :(
